What you'll do

  • Process US contractor and US direct-employee payments twice per month — review each and release funds from the deposit account.
  • Process vendor payments twice per month — review and release funds from the deposit account.
  • Own the financial side of Deel: review Deel charges, remove erroneous charges, monitor tax communications, open tickets and escalate penalties or open cases as needed.
  • Perform daily review of corporate card charges (Ramp) — ensure no declined transactions, correct accounts/departments/subsidiaries, apply correct tax codes for Israeli charges.
  • Open new corporate cards and allocate each to the correct entity, expense account, and department in NetSuite.
  • Prepare a monthly card-allocation file and manage spend against limits at month-end, accounting for expected upcoming charges.
  • Update Ramp bank information monthly.
  • Monitor payment status weekly and follow up at month-end on reasons for uncollected charges.
  • Reconcile Stripe to the books monthly — verify journal entries and that Stripe payouts match the bank.
  • Monitor the billing Slack channel for billing-related requests, charges, and transaction-processing requirements.
  • Review expected travel budgets and costs ahead of each trip; approve total charges and per-employee allocation and flag overcharges or personal usage.
  • Prepare the Anthropic cost-allocation journal entry.
  • Revalue open balances across all entities (open-currency revaluation by month).
  • Reconcile revenue against Stripe and confirm VAT reporting.
  • Support broader month-end close: ensure transactions carry correct department, account, entity, and tax coding; prepare end-of-month reporting and detailed reconciliation and analysis of client revenue.
  • Build and refine prompts, lightweight scripts, and automations to accelerate reconciliations, coding, reporting, and reviews; use AI tools as part of daily workflows while validating outputs.
  • Interact daily with CEO, leadership and Israel-based bookkeeper to align on priorities and resolve finance matters; attend ~1–2 meetings per day as required.

What they require

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA certification is required.
  • 2–5 years in bookkeeping / accounting / financial-operations roles, ideally supporting US-based or multi-entity international companies.
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite is a priority and strongly expected.
  • Demonstrated practical day-to-day use of AI or automation (Claude and other AI tools) is required.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, particularly in multi-entity financial operations.
  • Solid grasp of multi-entity, multi-currency accounting: journal entries, revaluation, and reconciliations.
  • Advanced Excel skills for financial analysis, reporting, reconciliation, and budget/P&L review are preferred.
  • Excellent written-English communication skills; able to proactively and clearly communicate with internal leaders and external vendors.
  • Familiarity with Ramp, Stripe, and Deel is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with Chase and experience handling US banking transactions is advantageous.
  • Must be based in the Philippines and able to overlap with Israel timezones (preferred ~10:00 AM Israel time start).
  • Willingness to be a hands-on, individual-contributor controller with no direct reports and to own day-to-day finance operations end to end.
