The Opportunity We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our team. As the company grows, so do the responsibilities of the Finance team, making this an exciting time to join us. In this role, you will contribute to team growth and support our daily accounting and payment processes for LATAM. Additionally, you will play a key role in optimising our processes to enhance efficiency in our daily operations.
What you will do:
Review and optimise the local accounting setup across LATAM entities, including external accounting firms and our internal analyst, ensuring accuracy in invoicing, reconciliations, and daily operations.
Implement financial controls, including banking mandates, approval flows, cash flow monitoring and forecasting, and validating partner banking details for seamless payments.
Partner with the Global Market Lead and country heads on P&Ls, deal pipeline, and profitability, flagging underperforming deals and proposing corrective actions
Serve as the first point of contact for finance-related questions in the region, including newer markets like Mexico and Colombia, and provide financial input into commercial decisions such as pricing, payment terms, and carrier commissions.
Own local budgeting and forecasting, from annual budget planning with country heads to rolling revenue, cost, and cash forecasts.
Manage relationships with external accounting providers, assessing quality, cost, and scalability, and renegotiating or replacing where needed.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve partner issues related to invoicing or payments, and manage partner credit limits and prepayment arrangements as needed.

Who you are:
You are an experienced finance professional across accounting, controlling, and financial operations.
You have a foundational understanding of accounting principles and local tax/compliance requirements across LATAM, with familiarity in MRFS, NIF, and IFRS.
You have solid FP&A skills: budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
You are proficient in Excel or Google Sheets, skilled in advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
You're comfortable operating as both a senior leader and a hands-on doer, building structure from scratch and managing external providers along the way.
You are fluent in English and Spanish and/or Portuguese.
Nice to have:
Exposure to group reporting under IFRS.
Experience with ERP systems, such as DATEV, NetSuite, Xero, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics.
Experience in tech or marketplace businesses.
