What you'll do

  • Own the reliability, timeliness, and completeness of Joko's financial information.
  • Set finance operations standards, drive the calendar, and hold internal and external stakeholders accountable.
  • Drive the monthly and annual closing calendar, holding the external accounting partner and auditors to a high standard.
  • Own the legal reporting package and ensure the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statement are accurate and delivered on time.
  • Oversee AP/AR end to end, including invoicing, payment runs, and collections.
  • Lead the international accounting build-out as Joko opens new entities and markets, including the IFRS consolidation framework.
  • Own cash management, including reconciliation, yield optimization, and day-to-day treasury.
  • Act as the main point of contact for banking and accounting partners.
  • Serve as a key interface for auditors as Joko scales toward IPO readiness.
  • Continuously strengthen and document financial processes and controls.
  • Work with a dedicated BizOps partner to automate finance operations where possible.

What they require

  • 4–8 years of experience with a strong foundation in accounting or audit, Big 4 or equivalent.
  • Ideally combined with in-house experience in a scale-up.
  • A master's degree from a top business school.
  • Preferred: A double degree in accounting (DCG/DSCG).
  • Deep understanding of French GAAP and treasury fundamentals.
  • Excited to build a multi-entity, multi-country accounting backbone as Joko expands.
  • Preferred: IFRS exposure.
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to build trust with partners inside and outside Joko.
  • Comfortable holding partners accountable.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to dig into root causes.
  • Uses AI in daily work today.
  • Excited to help automate reporting and reconciliation as part of Joko's AI-first finance ambition.
  • Fluent French and English.
