What you'll do

  • Travel to customer facilities to perform preventive maintenance
  • Equipment calibration
  • Troubleshooting and repairs
  • Installation and commissioning of new systems
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues
  • Provide customers with technical guidance and hands-on training
  • Complete accurate service documentation, field reports, and expense reports
  • Maintain professionalism and customer satisfaction during service visits
  • Follow company and customer safety procedures
  • Support customers throughout New Jersey, with occasional travel to other regions

What they require

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical field (military technical experience or trade school training may be considered in place of a degree)
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Comfortable working with Windows-based computers and technical software
  • Excellent organization, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
