What you'll do

  • Pre-commission, commission, and service static frequency converters (SFC) and variable frequency (VFD) low voltage and medium voltage drives/switchgear/transformers and power systems.
  • Provide technical assistance and supervision to customers on the installations.
  • Conduct on-site interpretation of data and technical instruction.
  • Provide technical assistance through on-site guidance and training in proper operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of assigned programs and ground support equipment.
  • Hands-on on-site parts replacement, testing, and verification of electrical equipment.

What they require

  • Electrical engineering bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Solid understanding of Power Electronics, Electric Circuit, Electric Power Systems, Medium Voltage, Harmonics, with good hands-on skill.
  • Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers; good literacy in at least one computer programming language.
  • Hands-on experience and knowledge of test instruments (recorders, power analysers, oscilloscopes, Insulation resistance, HI pot etc.).
  • Willing to travel to customer sites (planning more than 90% travel in the home country and to other countries) and comfortable to sail on marine vessels and remain offshore for defined number of days.
