Telecom service operations supervisor with 6+ years of service operations experience. Must live within 1 hour of Louisville, KY, travel to worksites, and have a valid unrestricted driver's license.

What you'll do

  • Supervise teams in achieving service and quality objectives.
  • Maintain alignment with budgets and SLAs.
  • Create and present reports about service metrics.
  • Manage people, major projects, and initiatives.
  • Provide direction to managers and supervisors in quality assurance, safety, productivity monitoring, training, and budget and SLA adherence.
  • Perform proactive and reactive field visits.
  • Assess customer service through site visits and customer feedback.
  • Perform compliance reviews of vendor-provided services.
  • Coordinate installation and repair activities.
  • Manage employee timesheets and contractor invoicing.
  • Differentiate between capital and operational expenses.
  • Schedule installation and repair calendars.
  • Approve invoices and support invoice audits.
  • Ensure teams follow service and safety standards required by regulators, industry and manufacturer guidelines, OSHA, National Electric Safety Code, Departments of Transportation, and local building codes.
  • Manage overall operational and daily department activities.
  • Plan and implement systems that support department work and goals efficiently and effectively.
  • Support the manager in budget adherence and service quality standards.
  • Work with day-to-day fiduciary functions to ensure effective expense measures.
  • Ensure operational efficiencies, accountability, and adherence to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Establish performance measures, goals, objectives, and priorities for the team.
  • Evaluate employee work performance.
  • Identify training and counseling opportunities in partnership with leadership and HR.
  • Recommend departmental policy, procedure, and issue improvements to management.
  • Perform other assigned departmental and cross-functional projects.

  • 6+ years' Service Operations experience in telecommunications required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree.
  • Able to travel to various worksites or service locations as the job requires.
  • Proactive, independent, and able to take initiative to stay on-task and on-target.
  • Frequently operates computer, keyboard, and related peripherals.
  • Frequent travel to construction sites, including standing, walking, and safely navigating in all weather.
  • Near-constant use of sight, speech, hearing, comprehension, and reasoning.
