What you'll do

  • Serve s as a primary point of contact for Financial Advisors and Field Leadership, providing compensation-related support through phone, email, and other service channels.
  • Respond s to advisor inquiries by researching compensation questions, explaining policies and procedures, and resolving issues in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Process es and maintain s advisor compensation split agreements, including creating, updating, validating , and researching split arrangements.
  • Investigate s compensation discrepancies by reviewing transactions, identifying root causes, and coordinating resolution efforts with internal business partners.
  • Process es compensation adjustments and corrections while ensuring adherence to established compensation policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Review s new business submissions and related documentation to validate compensation-related data elements, including ownership, insured information, and advisor splits.
  • Identif ies and escalate s compensation setup or processing issues that could impact advisor payments, helping to minimize delays and payment inaccuracies.
  • Educate s advisors on compensation programs, business rules, and common compensation scenarios to improve understanding and reduce repeat inquiries.
  • Maintain s accurate documentation of advisor interactions, research findings, and issue resolutions in accordance with departmental standards.
  • Support s continuous improvement efforts by identifying trends, providing feedback on recurring issues, and assisting with updates to procedures and job aids.

What they require

  • High School diploma.
  • 1 to 2 years related work experience.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Comfort in interpreting and applying general program guidelines.
  • Strong data entry skills.
  • Comfort with Microsoft Office programs, including Excel.
  • Ability to facilitate and respond effectively to customer inquiries.
  • Demonstrated a bility to deal with confidential, controversial and sensitive interactions with field members.
  • Ability to work independently at times in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, driven by payday deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively navigate through various mainframe and LAN based systems including the Customer Information File, Thrivent’s Image system and the compensation system.
