What you'll do

  • Develop a high-performing applications team through systematic talent development strategies.
  • Coach, mentor, and guide team members to foster their professional growth.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive field application strategy with peers and business stakeholders.
  • Drive design win growth by setting ambitious targets and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Foster and nurture technical relationships with major accounts with a CTO mindset.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (segment leaders, account managers, factory engineering and product management).
  • Establish and maintain benchmark customer excellence processes.
  • Participate in customer meetings and ensure timely support and tailored solutions.
  • Utilize data-driven insights and analytics to monitor, measure, and report on applications performance.
  • Take ownership of budget planning and management for the field applications function.

What they require

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry or Physics
  • 5 or more years of applications experience in advanced manufacturing (Solar, Battery, etc), commercial semiconductor manufacturing process, industrial HVAC manufacturing, or relevant field
  • Ability and drive to develop a strong understanding of customer applications and to think outside the box
  • Ability to adapt to various field situations and to foster strong relationships with internal and external customers
  • Travel up to 35% (Domestic and International)
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry or Physics is desirable
  • Compliance with Export Administration Regulations ('EAR') including deemed exports to foreign nationals
