What you'll do

  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for commercial boilers, providing technical support to customers, representatives, and service technicians regarding product performance, troubleshooting, and service-related issues.
  • Visit customer sites to diagnose and resolve product and service concerns, including startup, tuning, and commissioning of linkage- and servo-controlled boilers.
  • Participate in ongoing technical training and support the development and delivery of technical training programs for representatives and technicians.
  • Develop, maintain, and update technical procedures, service bulletins, and preventative maintenance programs.
  • Maintain spare parts inventories and recommended spare parts kits.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to identify, develop, and implement new troubleshooting procedures and service requirements.
  • Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by Field Service Manager or Company management.

What they require

  • 5+ years of field experience in commercial heating/domestic hot water.
  • Knowledge of electrical/electronic controls and hardware.
  • Knowledge of steam and gas-fired equipment.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter with ownership mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.
  • Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.
