They bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution, managing treaty/facultative structures, premium calculations, claims processing, and financial accounting to ensure seamless system integration Responsibilities Provides high level of expertise in the design and functionality of business applications Understands the business objectives and how best they can be supported by IT Responsible for the conceptual design of business applications Reviews and validates the technical design for business applications provided by the supplier Performs quality review checks on project deliverables Validates suppliers estimates Performs impact analysis of application changes across various components Reviews and validates the detailed technical design for business applications provided by the supplier to ensure alignment with business requirements Performs quality review checks on project deliverables Supports the implementation activities, troubleshooting system environmental issues, training as required Translate complex reinsurance requirements into functional and technical specifications. Set up and maintain treaty and facultative structures, proportional/non-proportional arrangements, participation structures, and risk accumulations. Ensure accurate reinsurance accounting (UPR, EPI, reinstatement premiums) and seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA Finance and SAP FS-CD. Manage period-end (month, quarter, year-end) close processes, premium estimations, claims recoveries, and settlements. Lead or support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect resolution, and data reconciliation. Work alongside Actuarial, Finance, Business Operations, and IT teams to implement and optimize SAP systems. Requirements 5+ Year working with SAP environment Deep understanding of both general reinsurance concepts and insurance operations. Hands-on experience with SAP FS-RI module configurations. Proficiency in linking FS-RI with SAP FS-CD (Collections and Disbursements) and SAP FI/CO. Background in managing proportional/non-proportional treaties and facultative contracts.
