What you'll do

  • Evaluate and arrange model train lots submitted by users, ensuring each auction features attractive and relevant listings
  • Create compelling weekly lot selections using your expertise and professional network
  • Review titles, descriptions, and images to assess quality and provide accurate estimated values
  • Safeguard transparent and fair transactions through consistent expert evaluation
  • Communicate rejections professionally and diplomatically, maintaining strong seller relationships
  • Collaborate with Sales to attract new sellers and diversify the range and quality of lots
  • Partner with Marketing to increase bidder engagement and visibility for your auctions

  • Expert knowledge in Model Trains
  • Strong commercial acumen and documented commercial experience
  • An eye for trade and value within the collectibles market
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to act diplomatically in user disputes
  • A network of potential sellers and experts within your field
  • Good computer skills and confidence working with digital tools
  • Good command of English, written and spoken
