Senior events lead to own and deliver Halter’s Australian event strategy across national flagship activations and regional on-farm events. What you'll do

  • Build the annual Australian event strategy and calendar, deciding priorities and audience for each event.
  • Own the annual event budget: forecasting, per-event budgets, supplier contracts, negotiation, cost reconciliation and re-forecasting.
  • Lead delivery of events across scales: flagship national activations (Beef Week, large field days), conferences, invite-only stakeholder events, and regional events.
  • Define production standards for each event format and oversee on-the-day experience and follow-up to convert attendance into pipeline.
  • Measure event ROI: pipeline generated, cost per opportunity, and role in deal cycle/customer journey.
  • Lead, build and coach Event Specialists/Coordinators to deliver events across formats.
  • Partner with Territory Managers to ensure regional events serve local patches and pipeline.
  • Collaborate with Content & Lifecycle team so events integrate with wider campaign strategy.

  • Proven experience delivering events across a wide range of scale, budget and production value.
  • Strong commercial mindset: measure events by pipeline and cost per opportunity and wrap quality analysis around each event.
  • Ability to manage a busy, varied calendar and coach a team to adapt to different event needs.
  • Willingness to be onsite with farmers and work closely with field reps.
  • Highly collaborative across sales and marketing functions.
  • Aspirational and creative: pitch new formats and activations.
