What you'll do

  • Support Pre-Contract and Operations with project costs and pricing objectives
  • Utilize past experience, data analysis, and metrics to develop estimates
  • Utilize tools and data analysis to create bid comparisons
  • Support supplier relations and strategies
  • Select appropriate suppliers for bidding various needs in concert with internal teams
  • Develop RFQ documentation for suppliers and sub-contractors
  • Lead communication with suppliers and sub-contractors on active RFQs
  • Lead the development and presentation of cost models
  • Assist in submission of bid projects including populating customer submission documents
  • Build tools necessary for efficient estimating
  • Lead review meetings with internal operations teams and leaders
  • Maintain organized and accurate documentation throughout the project
  • Partner with Applications engineering and Purchasing to meet specific needs and scope of each job bid

What they require

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience (Material Handling Industry preferred)
  • A college degree (Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or Engineering preferred) or equivalent experience
  • Familiar with conveyor installation and have experience with estimating mechanical installation costs
  • You believe anything worth doing is worth doing right, no matter how 'small'
