What you'll do

  • Supporting the estimating team by conducting material take-offs, quantity measurements, and bill of quantities from architectural drawings.
  • Preparing tender submissions.
  • Coordinating supplier RFQs for pricing.
  • Assisting in scope reviews, document control, and fast-paced tender delivery for commercial aluminium and steel fabrication projects.
  • Handling multiple bids and supporting accurate, timely cost estimates.
  • Material take-offs from architectural drawings.
  • Quantity measuring.
  • Tender preparation support.
  • Supplier RFQ preparation.
  • Scope reviews and document control.
  • Assisting estimating team with submissions.
  • High-volume workload management, handling multiple tenders simultaneously (approximately 20–30 projects per month).
  • Fast turnaround execution, supporting urgent and time-sensitive tender submissions.
  • Daily coordination with suppliers for pricing inputs and commercial clarification.
  • Focus on commercial project types such as façade systems, aluminium works, and architectural metal components (louvers, handrails, etc.).
  • Application of prior industry experience (not training-heavy role), requiring strong baseline knowledge in construction estimating.
  • Progressive involvement in end-to-end estimating support with potential pathway toward full estimator responsibilities.
  • Contribution to output efficiency and tender performance metrics (volume, consistency, and commercial accuracy).

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction estimating, quantity surveying, or related technical roles.
  • Experience in construction, fit-out, glass, façade, or architectural/metal fabrication industries.
  • Strong background in quantity take-offs and preparation of material estimates (residential or commercial projects acceptable).
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam (primary requirement) with working knowledge of AutoCAD (acceptable alternative).
  • Strong skills in Excel for estimating, measurements, and cost analysis.
  • Experience working with tendering, cost planning, and construction documentation.
  • Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings accurately.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and numerical skills.
