Seasoned enterprise sales / business development leader for consultative analytics services, selling into Fortune 100/500 clients. Needs 7–12+ years depending on level, proven quota achievement, strong executive relationships, and familiarity with consumer analytics, influencer analytics, AI, persuasion modeling, and experimental design. Remote-friendly within the U.S. or Washington, DC.

What you'll do

  • Proactively and independently identify, target, and secure new client engagements with major corporations and advance prospects through the sales cycle to close complex deals.
  • Leverage an established network to open new doors and create meaningful entry points into Fortune 100/500 organizations.
  • Develop tailored pitches, proposals, and go-to-market strategies aligned with BlueLabs’ capabilities, client pain points, and strategic priorities.
  • Consistently meet or exceed revenue, pipeline, and growth targets tailored to the practice level.
  • Cultivate strong executive relationships and act as a strategic partner and thought leader to new and existing clients.
  • Lead and manage a portfolio of engagements, ensuring high-quality delivery and measurable client impact supporting long-term expansion opportunities.
  • Advocate for client needs internally, ensuring project success and contributing to BlueLabs’ broader market positioning.
  • Clearly articulate BlueLabs’ technical offerings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate on and review proposals, pitch decks, and client deliverables to ensure strategic alignment and excellence.
  • Prepare weekly updates on pipeline activity, new business progress, and client relationship health for senior leadership.
  • Partner with internal technical and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of client engagements.
  • Contribute content, market insights, and external-facing material that elevates BlueLabs’ presence in the data science space.
  • Partner with departmental and organizational leadership to identify new market opportunities and convert strategic initiatives into actionable growth plans.
  • Mentor, support, and guide team members working on client engagements, with formal direct report management scaling by level.
  • For Director level, land new logos within the first 6 months.
  • For Senior Director level, secure new client engagements and logos within the first 6 months while ensuring project delivery excellence.
  • For Managing Director level, independently land new logos within the first 3 to 6 months.
  • For Managing Director level, mentor staff on client engagements with potential to manage direct reports.
  • For Managing Director level, partner with senior leadership to define overarching strategy and direction for the Commercial Practice.

What they require

  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding ambitious sales quotas in a consultative services environment.
  • Familiarity with or deep understanding of consumer analytics, influencer analytics, AI, persuasion modeling, and experimental design.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build immediate credibility and rapport with Fortune 500 executive stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to craft creative, data-driven solutions tailored to unique client needs.
  • Director level: 7+ years of experience in sales or business development within professional services, consulting, or the data and analytics space.
  • Senior Director level: 10+ years of experience in sales or business development within professional services, consulting, or the data and analytics space.
  • Managing Director level: 12+ years of experience in sales or business development within professional services, consulting, or the data and analytics space.
