What you'll do

  • Be the technical role model and go the extra mile to build, develop, and coach the team members on a daily basis.
  • Actively contribute to and lead the further development of our internal tooling for cloud governance, security detection and automation, IT management, and much more.
  • Strive to deliver the best possible user experience and to follow engineering best practices.
  • Build features with a ‘build it, run it’ mindset and be responsible for testing, deploying, and monitoring your code.
  • Maintain and improve our internal tooling, cloud governance and security.
  • Lead an international, world-class team of engineers.
  • Help the rest of FINN work efficiently and securely in their day to day jobs.

What they require

  • Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or in a similar field.
  • Proven track record with 5+ years of software engineering experience in larger projects.
  • 2+ years of experience building and leading a team of software engineers in a fast-pace development environment.
  • Experience with platform or security engineering practices.
  • Ideally, you have hands-on experience with leading disaster recovery and incident response efforts. (Those are not a daily reality at FINN, but you will be expected to own them if need be.)
  • Ability to own and drive company-wide technical projects (e.g., migrations, patching, etc.) from the position of a coordinator.
  • Solid knowledge of TS, Python, or Go, with ability to code and review code without AI if need be.
  • Deep knowledge of AWS or GCP, and are willing to learn the other quickly.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
