Hands-on player-coach Engineering Manager for DoiT's Analytics House team: you code and review code, run a team's cadence, hiring and delivery, and stay current in the team's stack. Requires 10+ years of engineering experience (4+ in actively-coding management roles), strong SQL/BigQuery, and cloud SaaS experience on AWS/GCP/Azure. Remote but restricted to East Coast US, the UK, Ireland, Estonia, the Netherlands, Sweden and Israel.

What you'll do
- Lead a team of engineers, owning both its delivery and its development.
- Drive a mindset of continuous improvement in the team through small, compounding, fast iterations.
- Develop engineers through regular 1:1s, growth plans, performance reviews, and candid feedback.
- Write and review code — drive architectural and technical decisions with senior ICs.
- Run a disciplined cadence of planning, prioritization, and delivery, partnering with the Product team on scope and roadmap.
- Own hiring for your team — interview, recruit, coach, and hold the quality bar.
- Communicate clearly up/down/sideways; empower senior engineers, coach team members, and partner cross-functionally.
What they require
- 10+ years of engineering experience, including 4+ years in engineering management roles where you acted as part of your responsibilities.
- Hands-on experience building cloud-based SaaS products — running services in production on AWS, GCP, or Azure, owning availability, cost, and the customer-facing surface.
- API-first mindset — products are fully functional and available through APIs, for both humans and agents.
- Strong background in databases, SQL, query optimization, and BigQuery.
- Track record of visibly transforming a team — measurable improvements in delivery velocity, technical quality, or team caliber.
- Deep technical fluency in your team's primary stack: you can read, write, and review code at a senior level.
