What you'll do

  • Lead & manage multiple large-scale programs from conception through execution, ensuring compliance with budget constraints and timelines.
  • Monitor & evaluate program performance, proactively identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements through Quarterly Business Reviews and regular client touchpoints.
  • Accountable for owning the commercial terms of each assigned client; managing scope & pricing within contractual bounds.
  • Assist with business development initiatives, including but not limited to proposal content review, interview preparation and presentation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, external partners, subcontractors, regulatory bodies, and community organizations.
  • Communicate clearly about program initiatives, performance metrics, and tactical updates.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and improve the customer experience.
  • Take initiative to proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address challenges.
  • Lead cross-functional cohorts through process improvement initiatives to ensure timely delivery of milestones by managing resources effectively.
  • Create and maintain reports for clients, partners, and internal teams to ensure visibility into program data, describing the data accurately with clear takeaways and recommendations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What they require

  • BA in Business Administration, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in program management, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
  • 5+ years in direct client-facing roles (can be business development, program implementation, or account management setting).
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to tailor communications style to audiences across all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Fastidious attention to detail is a must.
  • Ability to ruthlessly prioritize and manage the needs of multiple stakeholders.
  • Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree
  • Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Preferred: Certified Energy Manager (CEM)
