What you'll do

  • Recruit and engage business, institutional, and commercial customers where energy savings opportunities have been identified through email and phone calls.
  • Provide recommendations and remote support for participants to implement energy saving actions.
  • Monitor smart meter data and work with the internal Measurement and Verification (M&V) team to confirm energy savings.
  • Manage large, multi-faceted projects and act as a subject matter expert; manage critical and complex client accounts.
  • Build deeper, strategic customer relationships with decision-makers and lead high-stakes meetings with senior client stakeholders.

What they require

  • At least two years of customer-facing DSM experience such as energy auditing or energy advising in the commercial, industrial or residential space
  • 3+ years of professional experience (preferably in sales or business development)
  • 1+ years of experience engaging prospective participants via cold calls, emails and meetings
  • 1+ years of experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems (e.g. Salesforce, Outreach.io) and other software tools to organize and manage a customer engagement pipeline
  • 1+ years of experience with analysis and data interpretation to identify and solve problems; strong knowledge of energy efficiency concepts
