What you'll do

  • Handle inbound reservation enquiries from Dutch-speaking customers via phone, email, and live chat, providing prompt and accurate assistance in relation to hotel bookings, travel itineraries, and accommodation options on the Booking.com platform.
  • Assist travellers with new reservations, modifications, cancellations, and special requests, ensuring a seamless and positive booking experience at every touchpoint.
  • Resolve customer complaints and travel-related issues efficiently and professionally, escalating complex cases to senior teams when necessary.
  • Provide detailed information about properties, travel destinations, pricing structures, and platform policies to Dutch-speaking clients in a clear and helpful manner.
  • Collaborate closely with accommodation providers and travel partners to verify availability, confirm bookings, and address any discrepancies in reservation details.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records of all customer interactions and reservation transactions within the internal CRM system, adhering to company data standards.
  • Stay up to date with Booking.com product updates, travel industry trends, and destination knowledge to deliver informed and confident customer service.
  • Consistently meet and exceed individual performance targets, contributing to the overall quality and efficiency goals of the reservations team.

What they require

  • Native or fluent Dutch language skills (both spoken and written) are essential for this role — all customer interactions will be conducted in Dutch.
  • A valid EU passport is mandatory for eligibility to work and reside within Greece.
  • Previous experience in customer service, reservations, or a travel-related environment is highly advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of customer interactions with professionalism and empathy.
  • Solid computer literacy and the ability to navigate digital platforms and CRM tools with confidence and accuracy.
