What you'll do

  • Deliver outstanding customer support to Dutch-speaking travellers via phone, email, and live chat, addressing all enquiries related to hotel bookings, travel arrangements, and tourism services on the Booking.com platform.
  • Assist customers with reservation modifications, cancellations, refunds, and rebooking requests, ensuring each interaction reflects the highest standards of service within the tourism sector.
  • Proactively resolve customer complaints and escalations with professionalism, empathy, and a genuine commitment to traveller satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and tourism partners to investigate and resolve complex booking discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide accurate information regarding accommodation options, travel policies, payment procedures, and platform features to support informed decision-making by customers.
  • Accurately document all customer interactions, feedback, and case resolutions within the CRM system in accordance with company guidelines and data privacy regulations.
  • Stay up to date with Booking.com's evolving tourism offerings, promotional campaigns, and platform updates to ensure consistently accurate customer guidance.
  • Contribute positively to team performance metrics, including customer satisfaction scores, first-contact resolution rates, and response time targets.

What they require

  • Native or fluent Dutch language skills (both spoken and written) are essential for this role — candidates must be able to communicate confidently and professionally with Dutch-speaking customers at all times.
  • Valid EU passport (mandatory requirement for eligibility).
  • A strong passion for customer service excellence, ideally within the tourism, travel, or hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive customer situations with tact and care.
  • Comfortable working in a remote environment with a reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace based within Greece.
  • Proficiency in English at a working level to support internal communications and training programmes.
  • Previous experience in a customer service, travel support, or tourism-related role is advantageous, though not strictly required — full training will be provided.
