Job Summary: The Drafting Specialist produces conceptual design packages that move Highland's projects from a qualified site to ready for engineering, across a large and fast-moving portfolio of EV charging, battery energy storage (BESS), and edge compute sites. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Drafting Specialist turns buildable-area findings into template-driven conceptual layouts, prepares the drawing packages required for engineering. The Drafting specialist supports the coordination of Highland's external design partners to sustain a high weekly throughput of completed sites. This is a hands-on, high-velocity CAD role for someone who takes pride in clean, standards-compliant drawings produced at volume and on an aggressive timeline.
What you'll do
- Produces conceptual design packages that move Highland's projects from a qualified site to ready for engineering, across a large and fast-moving portfolio of EV charging, battery energy storage (BESS), and edge compute sites.
- Turns buildable-area findings into template-driven conceptual layouts, prepares the drawing packages required for engineering.
- Supports the coordination of Highland's external design partners to sustain a high weekly throughput of completed sites.
