Experienced district-education-sales leader who has personally sold tutoring services to US school districts and closed real, named district deals. Must have proven relationships with district decision-makers (CAOs, curriculum leads) and a deep understanding of RFPs, procurement, and budget cycles. This is a hands-on build-and-sell role, remote with significant overlap in Americas time zones.

What you'll do

  • Build Tutor's district sales business from minimal revenue to millions of dollars in annual revenue
  • Own the complete district sales cycle, from identifying and opening opportunities through executive engagement, RFPs, procurement, negotiation, and signed contracts
  • Determine which districts and segments to prioritize and develop the strategy for reaching and winning them
  • Build and continuously improve Tutor's district sales playbook (ICP, positioning, qualification, sales stages)
  • Develop a qualified, measurable pipeline
  • Build and deepen relationships with district decision-makers
  • Bring in high-quality market insight and identify the customer needs that unlock district growth
  • Partner with Product and the broader Tutor team to turn customer learning into better decisions
  • Establish the systems, processes, and communication rhythms to run the business
