What you'll do

  • Manage a small team
  • Develop and execute commercial strategy for new initiatives
  • Manage revenue plans for new initiatives
  • Operationalize the financial architecture for net-new revenue initiatives, including RPU expansion model by product line, assumptions, timeline, and revenue bridge to company targets
  • Define and track progress against quarterly and annual milestones
  • Be accountable for revenue targets, not just strategy
  • Serve as the internal point of view on where incremental revenue comes from and what is required to unlock it
  • Operationalize commercial requirements and revenue case for Fandom’s next-generation ad formats
  • Translate market demand, advertiser feedback, and competitive positioning into product priorities for the platform team
  • Define, package, price, and sequence go-to-market for new ad formats
  • Bring custom offerings to market, including net-new formats with no existing analog
  • Serve as commercial lead on initial format pilots
  • Act as product owner in client conversations and own the path from first deal to repeatable offering
  • Provide B2B marketing with commercial inputs for sales narratives, including proof points, pricing rationale, measurement story, and competitive positioning
  • Operationalize the external revenue strategy for Fandom’s data assets
  • Package, price, and sell FanDNA Helix, intent signals, and IP health data to brand and studio buyers
  • Define deal structure, buyer prioritization, and commercial terms for data partnerships
  • Own revenue outcomes against data partnerships
  • Translate data signals into CPM premium
  • Quantify the value of Helix enrichment in advertiser conversations and build it into format pricing
  • Manage the partner ecosystem across data partnerships, distribution integrations, platform relationships, and IP-owner alliances
  • Execute a tiered partnership strategy covering core commercial partnerships, innovation partnerships, and market expansion relationships
  • Identify and evaluate strategic opportunities including licensing and platform integrations that expand Fandom’s revenue surface
  • Serve as primary point of contact for key ecosystem partnerships
  • Translate Fandom’s fan audience story into buyable products for non-endemic categories such as QSR, CPG, Auto, and Tech at the agency investment level
  • Provide guidance on audience segments and measurement proof points that resonate with buyers

What they require

  • 10+ years in revenue strategy, ad products, or commercial partnerships at a digital media, ad tech, or streaming platform
  • 4+ years managing a team of at least 1 person
  • Experience taking a first-party data asset from internal capability to externally monetized product
  • Experience ideating, creating, launching, pricing, and closing deals against a data product
  • Subject matter expertise for newly created data-led ad products across ad products, data, commerce, or performance
  • Experience shipping a go-to-market strategy alongside marketing that resonates with market requirements
  • Publisher or platform partnership experience with understanding of both sides of the inventory and data equation
  • Comfortable working with complex financial models
  • Ability to manage and present regional or functional performance targets to senior leadership
  • Ability to present and close in holding company investment meetings
  • Thirst to build as an individual contributor
  • Operational orientation at the intersection of strategy and execution
  • Analytical rigor to own the model
  • Comfort with ambiguity in an entirely new marketing channel with no existing playbook
  • Preferred: Experience leveraging modern workflow automation tools to streamline commercial operations and accelerate go-to-market speed
  • Preferred: Demonstrated ability to act as a commercial change agent, inspiring sales and operations teams to adopt innovative revenue models
  • Preferred: Hands-on fluency with BI tools to independently analyze data and rapidly validate revenue hypotheses
