What you'll do

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Physical Damage adjusting team.
  • Own the day-to-day activities of assigned territory/area of responsibility.
  • Manage claims severity, rental car management, and relationship management with internal and external customers including GEICO policy holders, claimants, GEICO partners, and body shops through the territory.
  • Provide guidance and counsel on employee performance.
  • Support the employee life cycle from recruitment to performance evaluation and termination reviews.
  • Lead and provide direction to approximately 6-8 direct reports and up to 100 indirect reports.
  • Travel as required.

What they require

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Risk Management, Insurance, or related fields.
  • Prior leadership experience (5+ years).
  • Preferred: I-CAR certification.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required.
