What you'll do

  • Lead the team responsible for developing and executing the product marketing strategy for Arena's PLM and QMS portfolio.
  • Develop portfolio messaging, positioning, and value propositions that clearly communicate Arena's differentiated value.
  • Maintain deep expertise in the PLM and QMS markets, customer challenges, competitive offerings, and emerging industry trends.
  • Partner with Product Management to influence product strategy through market intelligence, customer insights, and competitive analysis.
  • Define target markets, buyer personas, and use cases supporting growth across industries including high technology, semiconductor, medical devices, industrial manufacturing, and aerospace & defense.
  • Translate company and business objectives into annual and quarterly product marketing plans, priorities, and execution strategies.
  • Plan and execute go-to-market strategies for new products, capabilities, and major releases, including launch plans.
  • Ensure product positioning is represented across campaigns, digital channels, events, analyst engagements, partner programs, and sales enablement.
  • Support pricing, packaging, market segmentation, and commercialization strategies with Product Management and executive leadership.
  • Lead product positioning and messaging for analyst evaluations, market reports, and executive briefings.
  • Lead development of sales enablement content including messaging guides, presentations, competitive battlecards, and customer-facing materials.
  • Establish competitive intelligence and market research programs to identify opportunities and market shifts.
  • Represent Arena at customer meetings, executive briefings, webinars, analyst engagements, and industry events.
  • Lead customer marketing programs to drive product adoption, expansion, and long-term customer value.
  • Build and manage customer advocacy programs, including references, testimonials, case studies, and success stories.
  • Capture measurable customer outcomes demonstrating business value of Arena's solutions.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Product Marketing team and recruit top marketing talent.
  • Establish team objectives, performance expectations, and success metrics aligned with company goals.
  • Build scalable processes for consistent execution across messaging, positioning, launches, sales enablement, and customer marketing.
  • Manage departmental budgets, external agencies, and marketing investments.
  • Foster partnerships across Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, Corporate Marketing, and executive leadership.

What they require

  • 10+ years of experience in B2B enterprise software Product Marketing.
  • 5+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing marketing teams.
  • Deep understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Quality Management Systems (QMS), and modern product development processes.
  • Demonstrated success developing product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for enterprise software.
  • Strong understanding of engineering, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory workflows.
  • Experience marketing enterprise software to engineering, manufacturing, quality, and product development organizations.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to executive, business, and technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives within global, matrixed organizations.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills.
