What you'll do

  • Own the Long Stays product vision, strategy and roadmap across hybrid hospitality operators, student accommodation, aparthotels, coliving and adjacent segments, with direct accountability for ARR growth and product north star metrics
  • Lead the full resident lifecycle as a product capability: booking and lead-to-lease, move-in and onboarding, billing and payments, recurring billing automation, deposit lifecycle, index-linked rent increases, and the tenant self-service portal
  • Set technical direction for the tribe: architecture decisions, engineering standards, and system health, acting as the senior technical voice alongside the product voice
  • Use AI agents, internal skills and automation as the default delivery mechanism, and build the tribe's context repository so builders can pick up any problem without a human handoff
  • Design and embed AI-assisted workflows across the tribe's delivery cycle, actively reviewing and pressure-testing AI outputs rather than accepting them at face value, and documenting approaches the team can consistently follow

What they require

  • Experience in both product leadership and hands-on product building, comfortable moving between strategy and execution in the same week
  • Technical depth sufficient to engage seriously with engineers on architecture and system design, with clear opinions about what good engineering looks like in practice
  • A track record in a vertical or segment-specific product context, with a credible business case for the choices made along the way
  • Strong commercial instincts, with an understanding of revenue potential, pricing complexity, and how product decisions connect to financial outcomes
  • AI Fluency Level 3 or the equivalent hands-on experience: you have rebuilt how a team works using AI, built approaches others follow, and you actively question what the tools give you
  • Mews is an ambitious, high-pressure environment of continuous learning and high standards. Success here requires resilience, adaptability and a willingness to solve difficult problems.
  • High autonomy means high responsibility. People are expected to take ownership and drive outcomes. There isn’t a detailed playbook for everything, and that’s part of what makes the work challenging – and rewarding.
  • Change is constant. We’re growing quickly and adapting as we scale. Teams, processes and priorities continue to evolve, and only people who stay curious and agile will thrive.
  • We’re remote-first, not relationship-free. Flexibility is core to how we work, but strong relationships still matter. Our teams are global, so we need expert collaborators and communicators to help us move forward together.
  • AI is an integral part of our processes. It’s not here to steal people’s jobs, but to amplify efficiency and productivity. We’re motivated to proactively use the technology to seek out better ways of working and share our findings with the rest of the company.
  • If there's anything we can do to support you during the application process, let us know.
  • We don't discriminate on the basis of race, religion, colour, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, disability or any other protected characteristic.
  • don't hold back. If you don't meet 100% of the criteria in this job description but you're certain you could make a big impact, apply.
  • Everyone should have equal access to opportunities, and we're committed to providing an inclusive experience.
