Role Overview Voltus is seeking an exceptional Director of Product Management to lead the team that owns the core customer-facing aspects of our platform. Reporting to the VP of Product & Design, you will lead critical product areas including customer dispatch, customer performance, market settlement, customer hardware and metering data, and the overall customer financial experience — all of which are essential to driving trust, value, and retention for customers.
As Voltus scales into new resource types, customer segments, and markets, this is the role that turns our market-leading position into a market-leading customer experience — one that lets customers self-serve, understand their economics, and earn more value per MW under management. Success means helping customers win because we've made it easy for them to perform.
This is a high-ownership leadership role with the opportunity to define bold strategy, build and scale a high-performing PM team, and apply deep product expertise to some of the most complex, commercially meaningful problems in energy. It's also a player-coach role: you will coach and develop the PMs on your team while staying hands-on, driving delivery for core features yourself. You and your team will partner closely with our market platform PM team, engineering, design, energy markets, and commercial leadership to deliver intuitive, scalable solutions that make it easier for customers to participate in (and profit from) electricity markets.
Voltus is a fully remote company. Candidates must reside and be authorized to work in the United States or Canada, aligned to a US time zone.
What you'll do

- At this time, we do not sponsor visas or transfers for new hires.
- Voltus teammates need to be authorized to work from their home location (in the US or Canada, unless otherwise indicated on the role description).
- While Voltus is an all-remote workplace, we have limitations on where employees are able to work for regulatory and security reasons.
- We expect that Voltans are working primarily from their home country.
- Working while traveling to other countries must be approved as per our Global Remote Travel Policy.
