What you'll do

  • Help deepen the Optimal Blue M&A function and lead M&A strategy & execution
  • Lead research and analysis into mortgage technology market and adjacent/new verticals and identify acquisition opportunities
  • Create and maintain vertical-specific market maps for acquisition targets
  • Manage the M&A cycle from thesis and sourcing to diligence and negotiating deals in partnership with OBPC+CSI leadership
  • Organize internal leadership reviews and manage deliverables during initial and post-LOI diligence
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and events to cultivate M&A and partnership opportunities
  • Develop internal OBPC M&A execution team & OBPC best practices for M&A in conjunction with CSI
  • Lead integration of acquired companies into CSI + OBPC and oversee post-merger integration
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop Value Creation Playbook aligned with CSI methodologies
  • Manage strategic initiatives using CSI "Initiative" framework (business plan, project plan, milestones, SLT updates)
  • Partner with senior leadership on turnaround, transformation, operational excellence, and new revenue stream initiatives
  • Create initial business plans, establish project timelines and deliverables, manage projects with executive sponsors and report to SLT and parent company quarterly

What they require

  • Experience architecting and executing M&A strategy and managing full M&A cycle
  • Experience leading diligence, negotiating deals, and managing post-merger integration
  • Experience with market research and creating vertical market maps
  • Experience partnering with senior leadership and cross-functional teams on large corporate initiatives
  • Ability to develop value creation playbooks and oversee integration/execution
  • Experience managing transformation, operational excellence, and new revenue stream initiatives
