What you'll do

  • Oversee the strategic vision, design, and delivery of data quality programs at Claritas Rx, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and superior transparency for customers.
  • Manage and mentor a global team of data operations professionals.
  • Champion best-in-class, scalable quality processes to position Claritas Rx as an industry leader in data trustworthiness and value.
  • Architect and execute the enterprise-wide data quality strategy, including end-to-end profiling, validation, and continuous improvement across all aggregated sources.
  • Champion data transparency and create detailed customer-facing reports, delivering consultative insights to maximize value.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of comprehensive data quality frameworks, SOPs, and automated tools for both real-time and longitudinal assessments of specialty pharmacy and pharmaceutical/biotech data.
  • Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, and Engineering teams to build out and scale Data Quality operations in alignment with customer needs and product strategy.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of onshore and offshore data operations specialists—including hiring, training, performance feedback, and capacity/resource planning.
  • Foster a community of practice to promote process consistency, knowledge sharing, and deep understanding of customer use cases.
  • Develop and maintain program-specific SOPs, driving standardization, timely issue resolution, and adherence to documented best practices.
  • Drive operational excellence and efficiency by evaluating, integrating, and advancing scalable automation technologies and methodologies.
  • Partner closely with Customer Success and internal teams to align operations with customer requirements and business objectives.
  • Oversee identification, impact assessment, mitigation, and root cause analysis for data quality incidents, with direct oversight of quality monitoring, triage, escalation, and remediation.
  • Lead regular data audits, automated discrepancy monitoring, and response measures in line with regulatory standards (HIPAA, HITECH, GDPR, SOC2).
  • Evaluate and recommend new data management and analytics solutions to advance data quality and business impact.
  • Monitor industry and regulatory changes, guiding process adaptation for GxP, patient privacy, and data integrity requirements.
  • Promote a data-driven organizational culture through education, documentation, and best practice sharing.

What they require

  • 8+ years’ experience overseeing data quality, data operations, or analytics in pharma/biotech, healthcare, or health tech data management, including global/offshore team leadership.
  • Deep understanding of data profiling, validation, and data quality frameworks, ideally with experience as a data aggregator or in data operations with a manufacturer.
  • Experience building scalable operational functions, process automation, and data standards.
  • Strong communication, quantitative, and analytical skills; track record of customer relationship and trust building.
  • Preferred: Advanced degree (MBA, MS/PhD in Informatics, Biostatistics, Operations Research, Computer Science or related fields).
  • Preferred: Familiarity with specialty pharmacy, Hub, co-pay, and complex healthcare data sources.
  • Preferred: Demonstrated ability to deliver strategic, consultative data quality outcomes for customers in life sciences.
  • The role is primarily remote with occasional travel requirements.
