What you'll do

  • Pressure-test and help shape the product thesis, bringing depth in AI and modern build practices to assess what is real, what is not yet, and what is missing.
  • Execute the established direction, turning it into shipped product that delivers measurable value.
  • Take on increasing ownership of roadmap and vision as the platform matures.
  • Move concepts into working software quickly, prototyping and shipping in weeks rather than quarters.
  • Build tools and agentic workflows that do real work against real client data.
  • Bring AI fluency to every part of the product lifecycle, including discovery, prioritization, prototyping, and validation.
  • Partner with engineering and data teams to take prototypes from early build to secure, reliable production.
  • Maintain a deep, continuously updated understanding of the user landscape across client teams and internal users.
  • Understand how users work today, where current tools fall short, and what a better experience looks like in practice.
  • Validate assumptions before committing to build.
  • Identify where a solution will not work for a segment of users before it ships and create a plan to address those gaps in the product or rollout.
  • Continuously gather feedback from client teams and internal users after shipping.
  • Feed user feedback into roadmap evolution.
  • Serve as a technical peer to engineering and data.
  • Own the technical approach.
  • Make architecture and build-versus-buy calls.
  • Hold the line on what is and is not production-ready.
  • Own what is built in-house versus sourced from partners.
  • Drive the build mix toward speed, quality, and cost as internal capability grows.
  • Keep the work coherent from prototype through production.
  • Define and own success in terms of client outcomes such as retention, revenue per account, and win rates.
  • Continuously measure, iterate, and improve the business impact of shipped product.
  • Design and drive adoption so the platform integrates naturally into client services, strategy, and agency operations workflows.
  • Own operationalization of shipped product.
  • Create rollout communication, documentation, and enablement materials for client services and operations teams.
  • Run a disciplined communication rhythm around rollouts and changes, including what is changing, when it lands, who is affected, and what teams need to do differently.
  • Keep leadership and cross-functional teams current on roadmap, priorities, and what is ready versus still in build.

What they require

  • Director-level operator fluent in AI, serious about product craft, and able to make products stick inside a real organization.
  • Track record of shipping product that people actually use.

  • Comfortable with stakeholder conversations, discovery interviews, and prototypes.
  • Able to combine vision with the practical work of making shipped product stick.
  • Treats rollout plans, release notes, documentation, and enablement sessions as part of product ownership.
  • Goes deep on the user landscape before building.
  • Able to identify where a solution will break down for a user segment before shipping and plan for that gap.
  • Energized by speed, fast prototyping, real user feedback, and iterative refinement.
  • Uses AI tools every day as a working method.
  • Builds in Claude Code.
  • Has built agents and agentic systems personally.
  • Understands AI technology well enough to distinguish good bets from bad ones.
  • Technically fearless, at home in data and modern software.
  • Deep enough to own architecture and build-versus-buy decisions without necessarily having a traditional engineering title.
  • Has conviction about the future of AI and candor to challenge the company’s assumptions.
  • Demonstrated experience building products with modern AI tools, including hands-on work with AI agents and agentic frameworks.
  • Prepared to show what they personally built, not only describe it.
  • Director-level track record in product, with real ownership of roadmap, discovery, and delivery end to end.
  • Shipped products that people adopted and that drove measurable business outcomes, not just launched features.
  • Working fluency with data and contemporary web technologies, deep enough to build prototypes and make real technical tradeoffs.
  • History of owning measurable business outcomes, not only shipping features.
  • Demonstrated experience operationalizing product rollouts, including communication plans, release notes, documentation, and enablement materials for operations and client-facing teams.
  • Prepared to show examples of rollout materials personally produced.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the standing to influence executives and engineers alike.
  • Preferred: Experience in affiliate, influencer, partnership, retail media, or marketing technology.
  • Preferred: Founder, early-stage, or technical-leadership background.
  • Preferred: Experience with data platforms, analytics tooling, or BI products.
  • Preferred: Built or contributed to open-source AI or agent tooling.
