1Password is building the intelligence layer for its global go-to-market engine, and this is the role at the center of that transformation. The Director, Go-To-Market (GTM) Engineering is a newly created senior leadership position within the Revenue Operations team, owning the intersection of AI strategy, data intelligence, and GTM execution. You will architect how 1Password uses AI-powered insight to move faster, decide better, and protect more people and businesses around the world. Reporting to the VP, Revenue Operations, this role is based remotely in North America.

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of experience in analytics, strategy, business intelligence, or GTM operations, with demonstrated ownership of insight products consumed by senior leadership
• Hands-on experience building or architecting AI agents or Large Language Model (LLM)-based systems in a business context, from identifying the use case through deployment and iteration
• A working understanding of Python, data analytics, data feeds, data structures, and data warehouse architecture
• Experience designing or evolving GTM systems across Customer Relationship Management (CRM), data enrichment, revenue intelligence, workflow automation, and related data infrastructure
• Experience translating data into decisions, with a track record of building systems or insight products that changed how leaders and teams operate
• Experience setting technical standards for how AI agents and intelligence capabilities are architected, built, deployed, and maintained
• Cross-functional credibility with VP- and C-suite stakeholders, earned through the quality of your thinking and the clarity of your communication
• Experience building and developing teams, including analysts or technical contributors
• Comfort operating in greenfield, ambiguous environments where the approach is still being defined

Bonus points for

• Familiarity with modern GTM and data tools, including Salesforce, Snowflake or an equivalent data warehouse, dbt, Looker, Clay, ZoomInfo, Gong, Clari, CPQ, or workflow automation platforms
• Experience working with version-controlled development workflows and deploying technical solutions into production environments
• Prior experience at a Business-to-Business (B2B) Software as a Service (SaaS) or security company
• Exposure to enterprise sales motion and revenue forecasting methodologies

What you can expect

• Define and execute the vision for 1Password’s GTM intelligence infrastructure, including the systems, models, and outputs that give leadership timely signals on pipeline health, retention risk, expansion opportunity, and market position
• Partner with Data and RevOps Systems to define the architecture, data models, warehouse structures, and technical standards that support the GTM Intelligence Engine
• Translate data across CRM, marketing automation, product usage, and financial systems into curated insight products, including dashboards, briefings, alerts, and AI-generated summaries consumed by senior GTM leadership
• Own the architecture, standards, and deployment approach for 1Password’s AI agent platform across the GTM organization, including prioritizing the use case roadmap and building the governance model that makes AI deployment safe, repeatable, and measurable
• Build and maintain a portfolio of trusted AI agents that support GTM workflows, including pipeline reviews, account research, enablement, forecasting, onboarding, and frontline execution
• Serve as a senior thought partner to Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance leaders, bridging the gap between business questions and the intelligence products that answer them
• Evaluate how GTM systems should evolve as AI changes how teams interact with CRM, revenue intelligence, workflow automation, and other business applications
• Represent the intelligence function in executive forums, from board preparation to Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to strategic planning cycles
• Build and lead a high-performing team of GTM Engineers, setting standards for analytical rigor, technical quality, communication, and AI fluency
• Develop the broader organization’s capacity to work with AI tools and data-driven insights, fostering a culture where intelligence shapes every significant GTM decision

USA-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $200,000 USD and $300,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.

Canada-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $184,000 CAD and $276,000 CAD, plus immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
