No BS summary

Senior events leader for Engine’s US remote role, owning B2B/B2C event strategy, execution, attendee recruitment, measurement, and monetization. Must have extensive end-to-end events experience, brand-led experience design, data literacy, and people leadership across conferences, executive events, partner events, and first-party events.

What you'll do

  • Own the full events portfolio: strategy, calendar, budget, and execution across every event type and every product line by creating a single, coherent program rather than a pile of one-offs.
  • Own Tier 1 conferences: Engine’s presence, activations, and moments at the industry’s biggest stages that earn attention and outshine larger competitors.
  • Own decision-maker events: intimate, high-intent experiences such as dinners, salons, and executive gatherings designed to move the people who sign the deals.
  • Own supply and partner events: programs that deepen relationships with supply partners and the broader partner ecosystem, reinforcing the Engine-only advantage.
  • Own government and first-party events: tailored programs for government audiences and flagship, branded first-party events that bring customers into the Engine world.
  • Ensure every event leads with the Engine brand and delivers an experience that matches the company’s ambitions.
  • Find ways to reach more of the market, in more places, for every dollar by thinking creatively about footprint, formats, and reach.
  • Build repeatable attendee recruitment systems for filling every room with the right people, including targeting, invitation, and conversion motions in partnership with growth, ABM, and sales.
  • Build a rigorous measurement framework for what an event is worth, from leading indicators through to lagging outcomes.
  • Build monetization models for sponsorships, supply and partner participation, and other ways events drive revenue outside of cost.

What they require

  • Extensive experience leading B2B and B2C events end to end, from Tier 1 conferences to intimate executive and first-party experiences, with a portfolio of moments you’re proud of.
  • A brand-obsessed experience designer who treats every event as an expression of the brand, with the creative instincts to make them memorable.
  • A systems builder with playbooks “on playbooks” for recruiting attendees, measuring impact, and monetizing programs.
  • Hands-on and data-literate; you tie events to pipeline and revenue and can prove the return.
  • Someone who thinks about scale unconventionally and reaching more of the market in ways competitors can’t or won’t.
  • A strong operator and people leader who can run many events and motions at once across diverse product lines without dropping the craft.
  • High-agency, creative, and at ease working with brand, growth, partnerships, supply, sales, and external vendors and agencies.
