What you'll do

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business objectives and requirements.
  • Evaluate current technology platforms and solutions to develop and execute comprehensive technology architecture which drives organizational goals and scale.
  • Identify and prioritize key areas for technology platform changes or improvements, including operational efficiency, complicated integrations, digital transformation, and innovation initiatives.
  • Define and drive the implementation of enterprise architecture standards and best practices.
  • Partner with business and technical teams to identify high value use cases for AI and machine learning, translating requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Document, monitor, measure, and assess the impact of architecture changes, making necessary adjustments to optimize outcomes and achieve desired results.
  • Develop KPIs and OKRs to maintain consistency and measurement of various project initiatives.
  • Design, model, test, secure, and implement enterprise-level systems and applications, ensuring interoperability and seamless integration across the healthcare ecosystem.
  • Define and design scalable, extensible architecture design patterns and socialize as enterprise and solution reference architectures.
  • Assess and select appropriate technologies, platforms, and frameworks to support business, IT, Security, Data Analytics, IT Engineering, IT Support, Clinical technology and Enterprise application needs.
  • Create cost effective, dependable, resilient, extensible, elastic, and scalable design proposals by working collaboratively across the organization.
  • Ensure that enterprise technology solutions comply with healthcare regulations, applicable laws, and security requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with the cybersecurity team to implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures, including threat modeling, risk assessments, and incident response planning.
  • Evaluate & recommend new technologies that evolve the Company’s technical infrastructure and enhance efficiency, performance, and overall capabilities.
  • Provide guidance and oversight for technology projects, ensuring that they align with the enterprise architecture and strategic objectives.
  • Lead a technology advisory committee (TAC) to align stakeholders on net-new technological initiatives or expansion of existing ones.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and external partners.
  • Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentorship to technical staff, and crossfunctional partners.
  • Prepare for and support future people leadership responsibilities, including contributing to onboarding, performance feedback, succession planning, and talent development.

What they require

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
  • Required: (ISC)² CISSP Certified Information Systems Security Professional.
  • Required: ISSAP – Information Systems Security Architecture Professional.
  • 7+ years of experience leading enterprise and solution architecture in complex, regulated environments (healthcare preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience leading, mentoring or managing technical teams.
  • Experience architecting and integrating enterprise and clinical technology platforms at scale.
  • Experience partnering with senior leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders on enterprise technology initiatives.
  • Preferred: 10+ years of experience leading enterprise and solution architecture in complex, regulated environments (healthcare preferred).
  • Preferred: TOGAF® (The Open Group Architecture Framework).
  • Preferred: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305).
  • Demonstrated ability to operate at the executive level and communicate complex technical concepts to senior leaders and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to lead without authority in a matrixed environment and drive alignment, accountability, and outcomes across teams.
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity, change, and transformation, balancing hands-on architectural ownership with strategic oversight.
