What you'll do

  • Own and define content strategy and approach for one or more areas of the digital assessment platform; prioritize and scope content work and own outcomes.
  • Create user-centered product content including in-product UI copy, instructions, onboarding flows, and contextual help.
  • Drive information architecture, navigation models, taxonomy, and content structures in collaboration with UX designers and content engineers.
  • Design and improve editorial workflows, perform hands-on CMS work (content entry, structuring, lifecycle management), and develop content governance.
  • Build shared standards, templates and a high-performing content strategy practice; lead content messaging during test administration windows (may include after-hours/weekend work).

What they require

  • 5–8 years of experience in content strategy, UX writing, or product content design in complex digital product or platform environments.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a portfolio demonstrating clarity, judgment, and range across digital product contexts.
  • Experience working with UX designers on information architecture, content structure, taxonomy, and content modeling.
  • Familiarity with editorial workflows and content operations and hands-on experience with CMS platforms and content management processes.
  • Authorization to work in the United States and ability to travel 3–5 times a year to College Board offices or on behalf of College Board.
