What you'll do

  • Lead analysis of denials, rejections, and claim edits to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions that improve billing performance and operational efficiency.
  • Drive enterprise-wide optimization initiatives aimed at reducing unbilled days and accelerating cash collections.
  • Present findings, recommendations, and process improvement strategies to executive and operational leaders.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Revenue Cycle Operations, Revenue Integrity, Denials Management, and Client-Facing teams.
  • Build scalable workflows and operational frameworks that support long-term business growth.
  • Lead and develop a growing team while fostering accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner in shaping the future state of billing operations across multiple clients and markets.
  • Balance hands-on analytical work with strategic leadership responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

  • Progressive leadership experience within healthcare revenue cycle operations.
  • Strong expertise in identifying root causes and developing actionable solutions to complex operational challenges.
  • Experience across multiple functional areas of the revenue cycle.
  • Demonstrated success driving process improvement and operational optimization initiatives.
  • Advanced critical thinking and analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, multi-client environment.
  • Adaptability, curiosity, and a willingness to challenge traditional approaches to achieve better outcomes.
  • Preferred: Experience with Epic, Cerner, or other major healthcare information systems.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of clearinghouse operations and claim management processes.
  • Preferred: Experience working for a payer, health system, consulting organization, or healthcare technology company.
  • Preferred: Exposure to automation technologies, AI-enabled tools, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, bots, or workflow automation platforms.
  • Preferred: Experience leading enterprise transformation or operational excellence initiatives.
