Here at Savista, we enable our clients to navigate the biggest challenges in healthcare: quality clinical care with positive patient experiences and optimal financial results. We partner with healthcare organizations to problem solve and deliver revenue cycle improvement services that enable their success, support their patients, and nurture their communities, all while living our values of Commitment, Authenticity, Respect and Excellence (CARE). About the Role Savista is looking for a Director of Analytics to lead the strategy, delivery, and continuous improvement of our analytics and reporting capabilities. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can move fluidly between big-picture strategy and the details of a well-built dashboard; someone who sees data not just as numbers on a screen, but as a lever for better business decisions. You'll partner directly with business leaders across the organization to understand what they need, translate that into a clear analytics roadmap, and lead a team of analysts and developers to deliver it. You'll also be a key voice in shaping how Savista's analytics function evolves, from data architecture and tooling to process and team capability. What You'll Do Set the Analytics Strategy Develop and drive a comprehensive analytics and reporting strategy that ties directly to business objectives. Ensure every analytics initiative connects back to broader company strategy — no orphaned dashboards. Be the Bridge to the Business Build strong relationships with business leaders and departments to understand their goals, pain points, and reporting needs. Facilitate prioritization of work / initiatives with business leaders. Proactively spot opportunities where analytics can move the needle, rather than waiting to be asked. Turn Data Into Decisions Design, build, and maintain advanced reports and dashboards that make complex data intuitive and actionable. Tailor insights to the audience, from frontline teams to senior leadership. Lead and Grow the Team Guide analysts and developers on best practices in data analysis, reporting, and visualization. Foster a culture of quality, curiosity, and continuous improvement within the team. Own Data Integrity Oversee data collection, validation, and integrity to ensure the analytics team is always working from accurate, reliable data. Design strategies for gathering and reviewing data requirements before projects kick off. Run Projects That Deliver Lead analytics projects end-to-end; scoping, requirements, documentation, execution, and delivery. Use Agile methodologies to keep projects moving and teams aligned. Continuous Improvement Regularly assess analytics processes and reporting methods, and don't settle for "good enough." Bring in new tools, techniques, and best practices to level up the team's capabilities. Communicate With Clarity Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a way that drives action. Facilitate meetings that create alignment; not just status updates. Collaborate Across IT Work closely with IT and data engineering to make sure the underlying infrastructure can support analytics at scale. Partner cross-functionally to embed analytics into everyday business processes. Requirements Experience 7+ years in analytics or data analysis, including experience working directly with business stakeholders to identify and solve reporting needs. A track record of leading projects (and ideally, people) from idea to impact. Healthcare or revenue cycle management (RCM) experience is a plus, though not required. Education Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field. Technical Toolkit Strong SQL skills. Hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform; Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate. Familiarity with Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps. GitHub experience is a nice-to-have. Solid grasp of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes. How You Work You can diagnose a messy problem and design a clean solution. You turn complexity into clarity; for technical and non-technical audiences alike. You communicate and present with confidence, whether it's a working session or an executive readout. You think strategically but aren't afraid to get into the details. You manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment without losing sight of quality. You're proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Pay Transparency Disclaimer* Savista is required by state-specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations.
