What you'll do

  • Conduct online Digital Creativity lessons using Kodland's provided curriculum and materials.
  • Guide students using tools such as Kleki, Krita, Piskel, BrushNinja/FlipAnim, WickEditor, Canva, Figma, Spline, and 123Apps/CapCut.
  • Teach the basics of digital drawing, layer logic, color theory, composition, light and shadow, and character design.
  • Explain frame-by-frame and keyframe animation concepts at an age-appropriate level.
  • Guide students in basic 3D modeling, movement in three-dimensional space, and use of materials and textures.
  • Support students in graphic design projects such as logos, stickers, business cards, brand books, and presentations.
  • Guide students through storytelling, storyboards, comics, and short cartoon production processes.
  • Explain technical topics simply, clearly, and engagingly for students' age and level.
  • Encourage active participation, creativity, and original project production in group lessons.
  • Guide students' projects from idea stage to presentation and support portfolio creation.
  • Regularly track students' in-class work, homework, and project progress.
  • Give students constructive, development-focused feedback.
  • Fill in class reports after lessons.
  • Monitor group chats and respond to student/parent requests on time.
  • Stay in regular communication with the team leader, education department, and operations team.
  • Be open to feedback from the quality team and improve teaching skills.

What they require

  • Comfortably use any drawing/graphics program.
  • Be familiar with any design tool.
  • Have worked with at least one animation tool.
  • Have created a model in any 3D tool.
  • Have a solid foundation in digital illustration, graphic design, 2D animation, and basic 3D modeling.
  • Know visual fundamentals such as composition, color theory, form, and light-shadow.
  • Be able to share a portfolio of 3–5 works, including at least 2 2D works and at least 1 animation or 3D model.
  • Be suitable for working with children aged 8–12.
  • Enjoy communicating with children and have a patient teaching approach.
  • Be able to explain complex technical topics simply, clearly, and at children's level.
  • Be able to give constructive, development-focused feedback on student work.
  • Have an energetic and guiding presentation style that can ensure active student participation.
  • Have a computer suitable for online lessons, not a tablet or phone, plus camera, microphone, and at least 10 Mbit/s stable internet connection.
  • Be open to using Zoom and learning online education tools.
  • Be available at least 10 hours per week.
  • Be available to teach on weekdays between 16:00–22:30 and weekends between 08:00–22:30.
  • Be organized, responsible, and have strong communication skills.
  • Be willing to submit a portfolio and short introductory video.
  • After applying, be able to share a portfolio of 3–5 works and a 2–3 minute short video through one link such as Google Drive, Behance, or personal website.
  • In the video, explain one portfolio work as if explaining it to a 10-year-old student, including what it is, how it was made step by step, and one challenging point.
  • Preferred: Experience teaching, running workshops, tutoring, or mentoring children or young people.
  • Preferred: Experience working with primary-school-age children.
  • Preferred: Have a portfolio of personal creative projects, such as Behance, personal site, or Drive folder.
  • Preferred: Interest in storytelling and gamification-based teaching approaches.
  • Preferred: Additional experience in comics, character design, concept art, game design, or animation.
  • Preferred: Communication skills to manage a classroom in group lessons.
  • Preferred: Open to receiving feedback and improving teaching skills.
