DevOps / Platform Engineer

💻 We Are Hiring - DevOps / Platform Engineer | 100% Remote

We are seeking a mid-level DevOps / Platform Engineer to support the operational side of our products on a part-time basis.

This role focuses on maintaining and improving our production environments rather than building infrastructure from scratch. You'll help improve deployment processes, authentication, security, automation, and overall operational reliability while supporting existing products.

We're looking for someone who enjoys improving systems, streamlining operations, and automating repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and improve existing production environments.
• Support deployment and release processes.
• Improve authentication and access management.
• Help implement security-conscious operational practices.
• Configure and improve automation for operational workflows.
• Monitor and improve production reliability.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Assist with environment configuration and maintenance.
• Recommend operational improvements and best practices.
• Work alongside developers to ensure smooth product releases.

Must-Have Skills:

• At least 3 years of experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering
• Good English communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical decisions
• Experience supporting production applications (AWS/Azure, Linux, Git, etc.)
• Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps Pipelines, Git, etc.)
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure and infrastructure as code (AWS/Azure, Terraform, etc.)
• Experience with authentication and access control
• Experience monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving production environments
• Experience scripting and automating operational tasks (Bash, Python, PowerShell, etc.)
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, etc.)

Nice-To-Have Skills:

• Experience improving existing production environments rather than only greenfield infrastructure
• Experience working independently with minimal supervision
• Experience implementing security-conscious operational practices (AWS Security Services, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, etc.)
• Experience configuring and maintaining containerized environments
• Experience collaborating with developers to support application releases

🕒 Work Schedule: 3 PM - 11 PM Philippine time

🚀 Engagement: Part-time engagement (at least 20 hours per week), with the potential to transition to a full-time role.
