DevOps Engineer Professional for Industrial AI Cloud (NVIDIA Omniverse)

Purpose NVIDIA and Deutsche Telekom are jointly developing the world’s first industrial AI cloud for European manufacturers. This AI factory in Germany will host 10,000 GPUs across NVIDIA DGX B200 systems and RTX Pro Servers. Deutsche Telekom provides secure, sovereign and fast infrastructure, including data centers, operations, security, and AI solutions. Role Overview: DevOps Engineer Principal / DevOps Professional provides consultation of functional organization to implement DevOps principles in term of culture and technologies. Holder of the position prepares prototypes and concepts for further automation of assigned technology, driving continuous improvement. DevOps Engineer Professional is responsible for entire lifecycle of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines and Infrastructure as Code approaches. WHAT WILL YOU DO? Design, develop, test, implement and support ICT components and applications in order to deliver quality standard product portfolio on AI Cloud platform running NVIDIA Omniverse. Develop concepts, processes and methods for automation, optimization, and standardization to satisfy efficiency and automation requirements. Consult and provide advice or information at request or at own initiative to all relevant employees or customers regarding technical aspects of products. Consult and provide project deliverables to fulfil the project scope. Owns responsibility for maintenance & support of enhancement of the Product pipelines with further levels of value chain, connecting pipeline to different platforms and infrastructures, integration of different platforms and infrastructures into the pipeline, root-cause analysis of pipeline runtime errors. Develop, and implement architecture of services based on AI Cloud platform requirements. Mentor and train co-workers to spread knowledge level and develop their skills. Act as key technical lead and solve and coordinate activities across related technologies/outside own team. Setup and manage integration with partner applications.

YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU: Have 3+ years of experience in the design and delivery of systems based on IaaS, PaaS and SaaS. Have experience with GPU based infrastructure. Experience managing and operating platform running NVIDIA Omniverse. Possess solid knowledge of Kubernetes container-based technologies. Have experience with scripting languages (Python/Bash). Have experience with Automation tools and automation deployments (Ansible/Salt-stack/Terraform/Helm). Have experience with CI/CD in a Kubernetes environment and repository management. Are expert in automation with Git (GitHub, GitLab) and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD. Have strong experience with Linux OS . Have experience with monitoring and visualization tools (Grafana, Prometheus,…). Speak English at B2 level, German is an advantage. Other skills: Have good communication skills, analytical thinking, team cooperation, presentation skills, negotiation skills Have Project Management overview on basic level Possess basic Leadership skills Have intermediate knowledge of Quality management

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 3 800 € /brutto.
