This position is responsible for assisting in Quote-Desk opportunities and quote support to help Henry Schein's field sales, operations, and service representatives within the designated Region(s) increase customer engagement, grow sales, increase their territory share, and close new opportunities.

What you'll do

  • Triage requests to prepare accurate and competitive quotes for dental equipment based on customer needs, guided by customer segment-based strategies and workflows.
  • Collaborate with the Quote Desk team, Field Sales Specialist, and market-based Dental Equipment Managers to ensure quotes align with sales strategies and company pricing guidelines.
  • Efficiently process incoming quote requests, ensure all details are accurate, and order fulfillment meets customer expectations.
  • Coordinate with the relevant departments (operation leads, logistics, inventory, etc.) to ensure timely delivery of dental equipment to customers.
  • Follow-up on or request that an equipment technician complete appropriate documentation.
  • Determine if the customer's equipment and technology can be repaired remotely by partnering Tech-Advisors with customers.
  • Follow up on or request completion of proper equipment replacement forms and provide accurate quoting to the customer for expedited customer PO processes.
  • Work directly with field sales and customer segment operations teams to determine in-stock item in-transit expedited shipping processes.
  • Resolving customer concerns and issues, independently and quickly in order to achieve the highest customer satisfaction and efficiency for business.
  • Primary point of contact for customers to address inquiries and provide exceptional service throughout the sales quote process.
  • Drive specific products and assist clients in choosing the right dental equipment by offering product knowledge and formulary compliance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, orders, and transactions.
  • Remain current with the latest advancements in dental equipment technology and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the products offered by the company.

What they require

  • Proven experience in a sales support role, field sales/operations, or similar customer-facing position.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience with dental equipment and/or the dental industry.
  • Proficiency in using sales support tools, CRM software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
  • A customer-focused mindset and dedication to providing top-notch service to clients.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with a positive attitude.
  • Typically 4 or more years of related experience.
  • Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline.
