Cedar’s Data Science team is seeking a Data Scientist III (Product Analytics) to work with product development teams to enable robust data-driven decisions and understand user behavior through in-depth data analysis.

What you'll do

  • Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering to uncover user behavior insights and drive data-motivated decision-making.
  • Design, execute, and evaluate product experiments to improve the patient experience and move key business metrics.
  • Conduct exploratory research to identify new strategic levers and opportunities for product optimization.
  • Define, measure, and track the success of new and existing product features.
  • Build scalable dashboards to democratize actionable data insights across the organization.
  • Communicate complex statistical findings and methodologies clearly to stakeholders at all levels.

What they require

  • 5+ years in a product analytics or data science role (healthcare, fintech, or complex e-commerce experience is a plus).
  • Expert-level SQL and strong Python skills for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Deep understanding of statistical methods and A/B test design for product evaluation.
  • Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration with product, design, and engineering teams to launch and measure products.
  • A proactive attitude with a passion for delivering a world-class user experience and a strong growth mindset.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • Familiarity with modern data stack tooling (e.g., dbt, Looker, Hex) is preferred.
