The CTO Office at Heartbeat AI GmbH sits at the intersection of product, engineering, organizational design, and strategic operations. You will report to the Chief of Staff and work in close proximity to the Heartbeat AI GmbH executive team at a moment when the product-tech organization is scaling and driving a fundamental shift toward AI-driven ways of working. Drive cross-team coordination: You triage incoming requests, coordinate across teams, and ensure priorities don't get lost in a high-velocity organization Turn cross-functional initiatives into scalable processes: You lead projects end-to-end — from scoping and alignment through to delivery — and ensure the solutions you ship are scalable Apply a product builder lens: Whether a topic calls for a requirements brief, a working prototype, or a SQL analysis to validate an assumption, you build rather than describe Prepare leadership to act decisively: You produce the decision materials, pre-alignments, and follow-through structures that convert strategy sessions into clear ownership and next steps You have 2–4 years of experience in product management, engineering, or a strategy and operations role at a technology company You have a track record of driving cross-functional projects independently, from scoping through to delivery You move naturally between operational detail and strategic framing, writing a sharp requirements brief and running a stakeholder alignment session are equally comfortable for you You are hands-on technically, comfortable building analytical models and shipping lightweight prototypes without needing engineering support You communicate with clarity and directness in both English and German, written and spoken (C1/C2 in both) You are comfortable operating in ambiguity and in close proximity to senior leadership — experience working directly with founders or executives in a startup or scale-up environment is a strong plus You take ownership seriously and hold yourself to a high standard: when something lands on your plate, it gets done excellently You have a genuine interest in how AI is changing the ways of working You are part of an international, dynamic, and highly motivated team of people who have proven to make things happen With your work, you accelerate the "energy transition" and hence have a direct impact on our climate Work with and learn from other super-smart colleagues You will enjoy direct contact with core decision-makers You will enjoy the best chances of entering full-time in one of Europe’s most thriving scaleups You work remotely (Germany-wide), with offices in Hamburg, Berlin or Munich Create a healthy balance alongside your work and enjoy all the benefits of the EGYM Wellpass Benefits and discounts are yours with Futurebens Whether city bike or e-bike - be flexible with our job bike leasing and do something good for the environment at the same time
