What you'll do

  • Support the CTO and Senior Alaners on top business priorities such as unlocking new growth, driving alignment on strategy, and building new processes and standards internally and externally.
  • Support high added value tasks for Alan.
  • Explore new technologies and their applications for Alan.
  • Implement internal solutions that leverage AI to optimize processes.
  • Contribute to company vision, market analysis, and growth modelling.
  • Identify and explore strategic opportunities.
  • Support board packs, legal research, and public affairs.
  • Develop corporate presence at events and on social media.
  • Coordinate RFPs and support marketing and partnerships.
  • Coordinate weekly internal communication.
  • Support the CTO with weekly social posts.
  • Organize the monthly event gathering all Alaners.
  • Recruit the next batch of Founder Associates.
  • Create new processes and resources and contribute innovative ideas to improve Founder Associates team efficiency and autonomy.
  • Collaborate with the CTO and other Senior Alaners.
  • Interact with Alan communities including Engineering, Product, Strategy, Sales, Marketing, and Talent.
  • Contribute to at least one strategic company project such as a new product launch or AI model implementation.

  • Six-month internship with immediate starting date.
  • Strong analytical sense and critical thinking, including framing the right questions, objectively analyzing problems, and simulating possible outcomes.
  • Business and product sense to think at company level, assess cross-cutting impacts, and make sound decisions in ambiguous situations.
  • Execution and collaboration ability to orchestrate and direct people toward objectives.
  • Versatility and ability to jump from one topic to another with similar impact.
  • Strong organization, time management, and autonomy to manage projects precisely and reliably with minimal external assistance.
  • Effective communication, including clearly expressing needs and inspiring action in others.
  • Ability to deliver tasks quickly and well while proactively proposing new initiatives and anticipating future needs.
  • Growth mindset and ability to ask for and receive feedback.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • High agency: seeks problems to solve and is committed to making things happen through projects, events, or mobilizing people around ideas.
  • When faced with an unfamiliar problem, first instinct is to find a solution rather than wait for someone else.
  • AI fluency: comfortable building with AI tools and has artifacts to show, such as a tool, prototype, or workflow.
  • Technical conceptual understanding: not necessarily a software engineer, but strong grasp of how technical systems work conceptually.
  • Ability to brainstorm with engineers, evaluate tradeoffs, and own technical projects end to end.
