We have a content library most companies do not: keynotes, member interviews, documentary

case studies, trainings, courses, webinars, podcasts, directed camera sessions, social media

posts, and years of testimonials from people whose businesses actually changed. Much of it

has only been used once.

About This Role

This is a persuasion role.

We are looking for someone who watches a 90-minute keynote and sees eleven ads inside it.

Someone who can take a member testimonial, a training clip from two years ago, and thirty

seconds of a founder speaking to camera, then assemble them into one piece of communication

that moves an established business owner from skeptical to interested—and from interested to

action.

The craft bar is world class and non-negotiable. It is also not the constraint. Plenty of people can

make a beautiful edit. Very few can look at a content library, a weekly bank of winning hooks,

and a set of performance numbers and say: here is the angle nobody has run yet, here is why

this audience will feel it before they think it, and here is the thread that ties these assets

together—then go build it quickly, with taste.

Angles are the bottleneck. You are the person who breaks it.

Our Standard: A-Players Only

We would rather hire one phenomenal creative and give that person the resources to dominate

than build a team of five mediocre executors. You cannot create a Michelin-star meal by adding

more fast-food workers. Scale does not come from stacking average talent; it comes from hiring

and developing an exceptional creative, building an exceptional system around them, and

holding an exceptional bar. We work with A-players only.

Direct-Marketing Experience Is Not Optional

You have written, produced, and edited work that was graded on what it produced, not simply

on how it looked in a review. You have seen campaigns fail and can diagnose why. You have

watched a change in hook, proof, structure, or CTA materially change performance, and you

can explain the mechanism rather than merely cite the result.

You think in awareness levels, objections, proof, mechanism, identity, and offer. You

understand that emotion opens the door and logic keeps people from walking back out. You

know when to stack proof, when to simplify, and when more information is killing momentum.

Copywriting is core to the role. You can script a video around a single transformation, write the

connective narration that makes disparate footage feel inevitable, and rewrite a call to action

until it becomes the natural next step.

What Your Direction and Weekly Workflow Look Like

You will not receive a brief. You will be proactive.

Every Monday morning, you open the task manager and review the continuously refreshed

performance signal: the hooks and angles currently winning, the audiences responding, and the

creative that has begun to fatigue. Some opportunities will be ideas you have developed before;

others will be new. The system gives you evidence and starting points, not editing instructions.

You are responsible for choosing the idea, building the argument, and deciding how it should be

executed.

Choose three priority tickets.

You choose three tickets to take from opportunity to finished creative that week. You use current

performance, audience awareness, industry, revenue range, offer, and available proof to decide

where you can create the strongest response. You should be able to explain what signal you

are following, who the creative is for, and why each ticket deserves production time.

Search the 10+ TB library with AI.

Using AI connectors and plugins through ChatGPT, Claude, and our AI-enabled content

database, you explore the strongest creative pathways for each ticket and search more than 10

TB of keynote speeches, podcasts, social media posts, trainings, courses, modules,

testimonials, case studies, and other source material. AI helps locate the best bites, proof,

explanations, objections, CTAs, and connective tissue around the chosen hook. You verify the

results and assemble them into one persuasive communication.

Hands-on experience building and operating these connections is required. This is not a

prompt-only role, and AI is not here to generate bad ads faster. You use it to turn winning hooks

into editable scripts, selects, timelines, rough assemblies, motion explorations, and variations

inside Premiere Pro, Descript, or the equivalent tools you already know—then apply your own

direct-marketing judgment and craft.

Delegate the assistant work.

You should be heavily comfortable delegating at least 80% of the grueling and mechanical work

to AI: source discovery, transcript search, logging, selects, rough assemblies, assistant editing,

version setup, captions, labeling, technical checks, and other repeatable production tasks. AI

should also strengthen ideation and assist the polish. Your human value belongs on judgment,

persuasion, story, taste, art direction, and final accountability.

Build the through line.

Some tickets will become simple, native-feeling pieces: a powerful testimonial bite, several

opening hooks, a clear headline, and a relevant CTA. Others may require you to combine a

testimonial, a case-study moment, and a training excerpt. In those builds, you write the

connective on-screen copy between scenes so the opening promise, evidence, teaching, and

CTA feel like one inevitable story rather than unrelated clips placed next to each other.

Build the primary videos and their variations.

By Friday, you have delivered all three primary video concepts, each in three meaningful

variations: at least nine finished videos. Variations may change the headline, opening hook,

starting point, proof sequence, framing, or CTA. They must test a real hypothesis rather than

simply repaint the first version. When the research reveals additional high-value one-off clips or

refreshes, you ship those too.

Own quality, naming, and handoff.

Every asset is reviewed by you before delivery, follows the exact naming convention, includes

the correct versions and metadata, and is organized so another person can retrieve and launch

it immediately. You hand off clean, test-ready creative to the ads-library and Meta team. No

downstream teammate should need to catch basic edit problems, reconstruct your intent,

rename files, or clean up your folders.

Keep refreshing what already works.

Not every deliverable is a complex build. You may find a strong testimonial bite, develop several

hooks, and ship it. You may take a stale ad whose body still works, replace the hook, repackage

the proof, or rebuild the opening. We are constantly reiterating, refreshing, and extending the life

of ads that still contain value.

Handle selective one-off projects.

Occasionally, you will produce a larger or specialized asset such as a video sales letter,

speaker reel, campaign trailer, product asset, or other promotional creative.

Follow the signal.

When something begins performing, you identify the specific nerve it hit, build more creative

around that insight, and feed what you learn back into the next week's tickets. You study

performance with Cody and the marketing team, double down when the evidence supports it,

and move on without ego when it does not.

Read the audience behind the result.

You do not stop at the aggregate number. You study which industries, revenue ranges,

demographics, awareness levels, and audience segments are responding, then create

specifically for the people the signal reveals. Scaling.com serves entrepreneurs across

industries; the strongest creative reflects the language, proof, tension, and aspiration of the

audience it is actually reaching.

Improve the system.

You help strengthen the AI-supported production system itself: better searches, connectors,

automations, reusable workflows, quality checks, naming logic, and feedback loops. The goal is

not simply to use the system. It is to make the system more intelligent, faster, and more reliable

every week.

You Have to Understand the Audience

Our audience is not aspiring. They have already built something. They are doing seven or eight

figures and are often the reason the company cannot grow beyond its current stage. They are

tired in a way that does not show up on a P&L. (If you do not know what a P&L is, you are not

who we are looking for.) They have been sold tactics before, and some of those tactics made

things worse.

Hype does not work. Neither does anything that smells like a guru. What works is precision,

credible proof from peers, and a frame that makes the next level feel possible and necessary

rather than aspirational.

The Work Must Look as Good as It Performs

Think MasterClass. Everything we publish carries our name in front of people who run real

companies, so the work must feel world class. But you also have to know when "poor" taste is

part of the strategic tactic: when a deliberately raw, native, disruptive, or imperfect execution will

outperform polished brand creative.

You obsess over the conversion angle, words, emotion, type, story alignment, negative space,

sound, timing, and where the eye lands. You understand that a great hook can stop working

when the edit or design fights it. You know the rules well enough to break them deliberately, and

you can explain why the exception earns attention or improves conversion.

Requirements

You Should Be

• A creative producer and editor with proven direct-marketing experience across video

ads, VSLs, paid social, or another measurable response channel. (And you need to be

able to prove it with your results.)

• A strong copy thinker who can develop angles and scripts rather than waiting for

completed copy to arrive.

• Someone who studies ads the way other editors study films and can reverse-engineer

the persuasive logic behind a winner.

• Demonstrably experienced connecting ChatGPT or Claude, AI connectors, plugins, and

creative tools such as Higgsfield, Runway, ElevenLabs, Descript, and Premiere Pro into

a working production system—not merely generating isolated outputs.

• Fluent enough across motion graphics, design, color, and sound to finish work without

unnecessary handoffs.

• Comfortable working from goals, audience insight, weekly tickets, and performance data

instead of waiting for a shot list.

• Organized enough to make every source, project, version, approval, and final asset easy

to retrieve.

• The kind of person who brings us formats, angles, and approaches we have not

considered—and can execute them.

Accuracy and Authenticity

AI-generated or AI-modified elements must be reviewed for factual accuracy, continuity,

permissions, and brand fit. Member testimonials remain verbatim. Founder-owned footage may

be tastefully tightened or modified only with explicit approval and never in a way that changes

the underlying claim. Performance never excuses false proof or manufactured testimony.

This Role Is Not

• An editor waiting on a fully formed brief. The thinking is the part we need most.
• A brand-awareness role. Every asset has a job, and we measure whether it did that job.
• A story producer who cannot execute or a technical editor who does not understand the

offer or direct marketing.

• Volume for its own sake. AI increases capacity; judgment protects the standard.
