What you'll do

  • Lead the digital team, including UX and Visual Design.
  • Partner with strategists, brand designers, and art directors to guide and shape digital launches.
  • Push creative work to new places and bring clients’ ideas to life.
  • Bring new products to market.
  • Oversee the quality and efficacy of the digital team’s work.
  • Push creative teams to imagine new ways to bring digital experiences to life through interaction and content.
  • Partner with interdisciplinary leads to build a vision for undefined new work.
  • Work with copywriters, brand designers, art directors, and developers to build new experiences across every customer touchpoint.
  • Build trust and guide clients through the creative process.
  • Define and establish digital processes that align with client and internal needs.
  • Act as an arbiter of the agency’s digital vision.
  • Find opportunities to foster the digital vision within the team and agency.
  • Push digital design to tell evocative brand stories that create emotional connections with consumers.
  • Collaborate with the business development team.
  • Advise on digital opportunities with potential clients that express the agency’s digital point of view.
  • Scope projects and consult on deliverables and project team casting during planning stages.
  • Manage and grow the team of digital designers.

What they require

  • 10+ years of digital design experience working at a creative agency, design studio, or in-house creative teams.
  • 3+ years in previous leadership roles.
  • Ability to effectively oversee the quality and efficacy of a digital team’s work.
  • Strong design aesthetic.
  • Excellent handle on user experience and digital strategy.
  • Ability to push creative teams to imagine new ways to bring digital experiences to life through interaction and content.
  • Ability to partner with interdisciplinary leads to build a vision for undefined new work.
  • Ability to work with copywriters, brand designers, art directors, and developers across every customer touchpoint.
  • Ability to build trust and guide clients through the creative process.
  • Ability to define and establish digital processes that align with client and internal needs.
  • Understanding of UX design principles and prototyping tools.
  • Polished portfolio showcasing UI/visual design capabilities.
  • Preferred: Strong grasp of CSS, JavaScript, HTML5, and front-end development trends.
  • Fluency in emerging AI-powered creative workflows.
  • Understanding of how tools like Figma AI, generative image/video platforms, and rapid prototyping can accelerate ideation, design systems, and production without compromising craft or strategic thinking.
  • Strong product design instincts.
  • Experience designing user-centered digital experiences across web, apps, and digital products.
  • Ability to balance brand expression with usability, leveraging user insights, testing, and iterative design to create experiences that drive engagement and business outcomes.
  • Mentor and leader excited to manage and grow a team of digital designers.
