Independent Contractor – CPT-11383 Ecommerce Operations / Walmart Virtual Assistant/e-Commerce VA/Any (Remote).
Overview
20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.
We are seeking an experienced Ecommerce Operations Virtual Assistant to manage the day-to-day operations of our Walmart ecommerce business, with additional support across eBay and Temu as needed.
The ideal candidate should be capable of handling the full ecommerce workflow, from product research and sourcing through purchasing, listing, shipping, and logistics coordination. This person should be proactive, organized, resourceful, and comfortable taking ownership of ecommerce operations while keeping the client informed and obtaining approval for key decisions.
The Walmart account is relatively new, and operations are still being established. The VA will therefore have an opportunity to help build and manage the ecommerce process from the ground up.
The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.
Scope of Services
Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:
Product Research & Sourcing
- Conduct product research based on the client's criteria and business goals.
- Identify potential products and sourcing opportunities.
- Research product profitability, competition, demand, and other relevant market factors.
- Present product recommendations and research findings to the client for review and approval.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers/vendors.
- Assist with purchasing coordination once products have been approved.
Walmart Ecommerce Operations
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Walmart ecommerce account.
- Create, update, and optimize product listings.
- Ensure product information, pricing, images, descriptions, and other listing details are accurate.
- Monitor listings and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Research and resolve operational issues related to the Walmart account.
- Help establish and maintain efficient ecommerce workflows.
Logistics & Fulfillment
- Coordinate shipping and logistics from supplier to the appropriate warehouse/fulfillment location.
- Arrange shipment of products to Walmart fulfillment centers or designated warehouses.
- Coordinate with suppliers, shipping providers, warehouses, and other relevant parties.
- Track shipments and follow up on delays or issues.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, inventory, and logistics activities.
- Help ensure products move efficiently from sourcing through fulfillment.
General Ecommerce Administration
- Research and identify tools/platforms that can improve ecommerce operations.
- Maintain organized records and documentation.
- Monitor ongoing tasks and deadlines.
- Communicate updates, issues, and recommendations to the client.
- Take initiative in identifying operational gaps and proposing solutions.
Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.
Skills
The Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Client’s requirements:
- 1–4+ years of relevant ecommerce experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience managing ecommerce operations.
- Strong understanding of Walmart Marketplace.
- Experience with product research and sourcing.
- Experience coordinating purchasing and supplier communications.
- Understanding of ecommerce logistics, shipping, and fulfillment.
- Experience creating and managing ecommerce product listings.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Proactive problem-solver who can take ownership of day-to-day operations.

Work Schedule
- Contracted Hours per Week: 20 Hours
- Scheduled Working Days: Monday through Friday (unless otherwise mutually agreed in writing)
- Daily Working Time: 6:00 PM–10:00 PM Eastern Time
Note: The Company will make reasonable efforts to align the Assigned VA’s schedule with the Client’s preferred hours as set forth above. However, availability may vary based on time zones, capacity, and the contracted hours set in this SOW. Any changes must be mutually agreed to in writing through a revised SOW.
Terms of Engagement
- Contractors will operate under a Master Services Agreement and a Statement of Work
- This is not an offer of employment; contractors are not employees of 20four7VA or any client
- All compensation is processed through 20four7VA according to the terms of the engagement
