Independent Contractor – CPT-11313 Social Media Marketing Virtual Assistant/Marketing VA/Junior-Senior Level (Remote).

Overview

20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. A growing commercial HVAC company is seeking a Social Media Marketing Virtual Assistant to strengthen its online presence, increase customer engagement, and generate new business opportunities through consistent social media marketing.

The primary focus of this role is managing the company's Facebook presence while expanding into additional social platforms over time. The Virtual Assistant will create content, promote seasonal specials and services, engage with followers, and help position the company as a trusted HVAC provider in the local market.

As the business grows, this role has the potential to expand into broader marketing responsibilities and, eventually, limited customer service support.

The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.

Scope of Services

Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:

Social Media Management and Content Creation

• Manage the company's Facebook page and additional social media platforms
• Create and publish engaging content on a consistent schedule
• Promote seasonal specials, service offerings, and company updates
• Develop educational HVAC content that builds trust with customers
• Maintain an organized content calendar

Customer Engagement

• Monitor comments, messages, and inquiries across social platforms
• Respond professionally to customer interactions
• Encourage engagement and grow the company's online community
• Help increase followers and brand visibility

Marketing Support

• Assist with social media advertising campaigns
• Create promotional graphics and marketing materials
• Recommend content ideas and marketing initiatives
• Coordinate campaigns around seasonal HVAC demand
• Support overall online marketing efforts to generate new customers

Future Growth Opportunities

• Support additional marketing initiatives as the business expands
• Assist with online reputation management when needed
• Opportunity to expand into after-hours phone support and customer communication as business needs evolve

VIDEO CONTENT CREATION & MANAGEMENT

• Create short-form videos, reels, and HVAC demonstration videos showcasing products, features, services, processes, or other relevant content.
• Edit and optimize videos for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Google Business Profile.
• Coordinate with technicians to capture real HVAC service footage.
• Prepare and publish video content across the appropriate social media platforms and customer portals.
• Produce educational HVAC video content to build trust and authority.
• Ensure demonstration videos are clear, accurate, engaging, and aligned with company branding and content requirements.
• Post videos consistently and monitor performance.
• Adjust hooks, captions, and editing style to improve reach and engagement.
• Manage and update product-related content as needed.

Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.

Skills

The Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Client’s requirements:

• Previous social media management experience required
• Experience creating content for local businesses preferred
• Facebook Business experience required
• Canva or similar graphic design experience required
• Experience running or supporting social media advertisements preferred
• Strong written communication skills
• Experience in home services or construction industries is a plus
• Video editing and content creation skills

Note: The Company will make reasonable efforts to align the Assigned VA’s schedule with the Client’s preferred hours as set forth above. However, availability may vary based on time zones, capacity, and the contracted hours set in this SOW. Any changes must be mutually agreed to in writing through a revised SOW.

Terms of Engagement

• Contractors will operate under a Master Services Agreement and a Statement of Work
• This is not an offer of employment; contractors are not employees of 20four7VA or any client
• All compensation is processed through 20four7VA according to the terms of the engagement
