What you'll do

  • Manage Budderfly's referred contractor pipeline, evaluating prospective contractors and determining whether they advance through the onboarding process based on established business, operational, legal, and compliance requirements.
  • Own, oversee, and continuously improve the contractor onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition from recruitment through activation while identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Coordinate contractor onboarding and training activities with the Program Manager, Contractor Training, ensuring contractors successfully complete onboarding requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors throughout the onboarding process, resolving onboarding issues and coordinating with internal departments.
  • Manage contractor onboarding into required systems, platforms, and tools (HubSpot, FastFields, InJobs, Sitetracker).
  • Analyze onboarding metrics, contractor pipeline activity, training effectiveness, contractor feedback, and onboarding timelines to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Negotiate contractor pricing and contractual terms within established business guidelines and coordinate with leadership on exceptions.
  • Develop, refine, and implement contractor onboarding procedures, documentation, and best practices.

What they require

  • 2+ years of experience in an onboarding, business development or other pipeline-management role preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred but not required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively and professionally interact with contractors, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple onboarding processes simultaneously, with strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Self-starter with ownership mentality and comfort operating in a high-growth environment with minimal oversight.
  • Desire to establish a climate-centric career.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Exposure to contract and/or pricing negotiation preferred.
  • Required education: BS preferred.
