ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Arizona-licensed Pediatrician to support the launch of our behavioral health and medical services in Arizona. This contract position will play a key role in payer enrollment, credentialing, clinical readiness, and launch activities as we establish operations in the state.
This is a flexible, 1099 hourly consultant role. Clinical service opportunities may become available in the future based on mutual interest and business needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Credentialing & Licensure
- Participate in commercial and Medicaid payer enrollment processes
- Complete and maintain CAQH and credentialing documentation
- Review and sign provider enrollment applications and related attestations
- Participate in occasional meetings related to network expansion and market launch
- Participate in 1-2 user research interviews to understand the AZ landscape - provider attitudes, patient attitudes towards care
- Help identify local key opinion leaders in the pediatric space and facilitate introductions where appropriate
QUALIFICATIONS
- Active, unrestricted Arizona medical license
- Board-certified Pediatrician
- Active DEA registration
- Ability to credential with commercial and government payers
- Experience with telehealth and value-based care models preferred
- Strong attention to detail and responsiveness during enrollment and credentialing activities
- Active Arizona Medicaid enrollment preferred
- Arizona state residency required
ENGAGEMENT DETAILS
- Independent Contractor (1099)
- $100/hr, paid monthly via invoice
- Flexible schedule, estimated at about 1 hour per week
- Limited time commitment during launch phase
